It Started With A Census
A good friend of mine runs the largest hypnosis forum in the world and thought it would be a good idea to survey his list of professionals about the work they do, how much they were making, and to get an overall state of the profession so that he could serve them better. 1,300 people responded.
What we discovered was disturbing, but not uncommon to many industries. There was a power law at play with the amount of income that people generated from their practices. That wasn’t new. However, what shocked us was that most people reported they made $15,000/year or less.
These were well trained professionals who were charging professional rates of $75-$150/hour, so they should have been making so much more than they were.
My practice was already into the 6-figure range, so I knew there was something I could do to help this group of wonderful people help more clients and be a bigger force for good in the world.
Hypnosis Training Academy
I had known about Igor Ledochowski’s work with Hypnosis Training Academy for a while, having learned how to do coaching work through his courses and seminars.
They had already had a big impact on my life and I wanted to see if there was a way for me to return the favor.
While I was volunteering for a seminar, I spoke to Igor about the incredible effects he had on my training and about the situation I had just learned about where many people in the industry could do wonderful things for clients, but were struggling with their businesses.
I told him he should focus some of his incredible skills on the problem and that if he ever wanted help, I was available as a sounding board, already having a successful practice myself.
This sparked a further conversation and we eventually agreed to host a seminar together to teach people how to have a successful practice.
I would bring my knowledge and systems and Igor would bring his audience and incredible teaching abilities together.
Our goal was to make a business training that wasn’t boring and was meant as a guide to help people get people unstuck from their business challenges and always moving forward to the next appropriate step.
A Treasure Map For Business
What if a business like a hypnotherapy practice had a proven success map? What if you could follow that map whenever you got stuck or wanted to grow your business? It was the perfect plan to make a boring business seminar into a game that could be played and a mental map that could be created so that the students could be successful and have everything they needed to get started.
We went beyond our own program and showed the students how to do important things like finding a mentor for their business so that their education could continue.

This program turned into a best-selling fundamentals of business training program that is highly prized by the people who have experienced it.
Even the camera crew that filmed it saw a 3X increase in their business by following the methods we outlined.
We supported our students with everything we could do give them the success they wanted. Resource guides, coaching calls, pre-written sales letters, advertisements and more. Everything to ensure success as much as possible.
